Rough finish paper has an effect close to that of handmade paper, with a strongly pronounced tooth that naturally shows lots of texture in painting and highlights the effects of granulating colors. It’s ideally suited for bold, expressive techniques rather than detail. Rough Press is also recommended for acrylics, pastel, and charcoal.
