Due to its strength and thickness, the board offers excellent flatness after moistening. The hard surface ensures easy application of the colours. Suitable for all wet techniques: Watercolour – especially wet on wet painting, smooth surface painting as well as dry technique and lavis, gouache, tempera and acrylic. Britannia is available as a block – glued on four sides – as well as in large sheet format* and as a roll for large-scale work. Natural white, acid free, lightfast and extremely age resistant.
